Hi,

Can anyone help with a problem I have with my 3 year old Motorola Rizr Z3 please?

For the past couple of months it has lost its sound, i.e. if it rings there's no sound, so I keep it on 'vibrate' (which works) but isn't loud enough for me to always catch the call.

If someone rings me, I can hear them fine but it's just that the ringtone sound seems to have gone. Every now and then, when I change it from 'vibrate' to 'full sound' it makes a plaintive effort to make a bit of a noise, but 9 times out of 10 there's nothing.

I know that I could drop it in for repair but I can't afford to do this and I was wondering if anyone had any advice or perhaps had the same problem themselves?

I am with Virgin Mobile by the way.
