GPS on RAZR2 V8

I think I am asking the impossible (!) but I would like to know whether it is possible to get GPS onto my RAZR2 V8 mobile? I have seen that some people have been able to download onto the V9 model (via Sprint?) but not seen anything about the V8 - anyone any ideas? Thanks
