Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones - no go with Nokia N73 ???

I am rather disapointed to find that my N73 will not see these at all, should they work ? A quick look on google seems to suggest they are compatable, do I need some extra s/w or something for the N73 ?

The N73 has to be updated to the latest firmware. A2DP was introduced in an update last year! Do a search on this forum about N73 firmware upgrade!

No issues with latest firmware here on my N73.
Been thinking about getting some S9 headphones myself.
Would be interested to hear how you get on with them.

Did you use a N73 Music Edition product code. AFAIK it shouldn't have a problem. I presume the headphones are discoverable etc.

Re: Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones - no go with Nokia N73 ???

I bought one of these headsets and it paired OK with my Nokia N73 (Firmware 4.0726.2.0.1) however, the range is very poor. If you hold the phone in your hand, or put it in a pocket, the audio signal keeps dropping out.

I also tried it with my new Nokia E51 and it is much better - no drop-outs even when the phone is a couple of metres away. No idea why this is - maybe the E51 has a better bluetooth radio than the N73
