Motorola Z8 - transferring data

I've got a Motorola Z8 and want to transfer the movie from the 512 MicroSD supplied to a new 2GB MicroSD, however after moving it across it reports it as an illegal copy.

Is there a way I can transfer it across to my new memory card without it thinking I've pirated it ?
