Motorola Freezing

I have a Motorola V635 (yes I know it's an old phone, but I like it ) and now I can't text any more than 1 letter before it freezes up completely, whether I'm trying to text someone or simply trying to add a name to my phone book.

Do any of you Experts out there know a fix ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Tom.

Re: Motorola Freezing

Could also be due to a damaged SIM card.

If the phone is locked to a particular provider, and you know someone on the same network - try their SIM in your phone.

Re: Motorola Freezing

Thanks for the replies, guys. It's never had any water damage and I've purchased a new sim card from Orange (time for a new number anyway, the boss had my old number ). How do I go about 'reflashing' the phone? Tried it on an old dvd writer once and failed

Cheers, Tom.
