bmw 1 series 120d sport........AUX

Hello.

Can anybody help!!!!?

Ive have just brought a 2007 120d sport. It has the BMW business cd radio in it, but without an instruction booklet.

I cant find out how to set up my ipod through the aux point....Can anybody help....PLEASE!!!

aux port in the arm rest? Just plug it in and change the radio to aux, you dont get to control the ipod unless you have the ipod connection.

And if its like my Z4 was the AUX input only becomes availble once a signal is detected.

Use the cable with a multi-pin connector on one end and a 3.5mm stereo jack on the other, rather than a 3.5 to 3.5mm cable, the sound quality is much improved (although the standard business HU and speakers are pretty woeful anyway).

BTW, it's BOUGHT, not BROUGHT... [/pedant]

Got ours off ebay for a couple of quid.
Surprisingly good quality, they've withstood child use for ages.
