Not sure what's happened to the picture but I've been invited up there sometime next year with a few of the TT-RS owners I know....might be nice to all meet up sometime.

Fixed it (just learning how to use the albums here)!

The S2000 owners' club has done 3 or 4 of these days now, great fun for £40 or so. Expect tyre wear though, especially on heavyweights like the Audis.

You spent 20k on that and the interior looks like that?

Makes the interior of my Laguna look like that of a Rolls Royce!

Also there is a modified cars thread HERE.

Either way, hell would freeze over before I spent £20k modifying a car like that!

Also noticed the tow bar, nice sporty touch

... but it still looks like a Punto

Sorry mate, I bet a lot of blood, sweat and tears has gone in to it, but I can think of many, many things I'd rather drop £20k on.

The centre console is also nicely done mate. Why is that turbo boost gauge thing on a tilt??

Also I agree with the colour because in the first pic in my eye's it looks like a mildly monitored usual boy racer car but it's more your pic taking I think then your car. However you do get a very good stealth feel with that look which is a good thing.
I think the Punto GT shape was alright myself? And many people have spent far more then 20 grand on there home theatres...... plus i think if you've done all the work yourself then why not, it's a hobby at the end of the day.

You need to take some pics next year, say February or March when the snow has finally gone!! Because from the pic of the engine bay I can tell you've done a crap load of work to it.

Also that head deck! Very classy mate. I should also ask what's the BHP?

Moved to the modified cars thread.

You've been a very busy chap there, and if you've rebuilt the engine yourself,I'd have to congratulate you for it.

I suspect you'll end up causing a lot of confusion, and earning a few dismissive comments into the bargain.

Easier to tot up the cost of the engine mods etc than lumping the car into it as well perhaps.

If you choose the right company or broker, the quotes can be surprisingly reasonable.

I've used Greenlight and Chris Knott, and neither had any problems with the things done to my car,and both came in with very reasonable prices.

I'm sure you already know this, but if you do buy one that someone else has been modifying, they may not have your experience or attention to detail, and these cars are a prime market for badly bodged work, and poor maintenance.

Be careful!

You've spent all that money to try make your car quick and then added sound deadening, amps, subwoofers?

Would you of not been better either going for a nice looking show/sound off car or an out and out stripped out quick car?

What bhp is it running? I bet it's a nightmare in his weather?

I could never work out why someone would sink 20k in to that I'm not doubting it's pretty quick but Im sure you could have a much quicker, better handling, better looking car with a decent interior and something you wouldn't lose so much money in.

Fair play though!

The civic type R responds quite well to a filter and exhaust I already knew this. Nice car would be good as a turbo conversion, unfortunately you dont get much of an incerese with just a remap if not a turbo engine. My friend had a similar car with filter and exhaust, I did not like the sound.
