No way of finding out (unless you fraudulently pretend you've been bumped by it and write to the DVLA for the keeper's details). IIRC, it sold a few years ago so I reckon not in answer to your question but Google searching that info was a nightmare so I gave up

Would be so appropriate if it was, but i havent been able to find WH05 HAT.
To check you need to know the make of vehicle, and im not sure what that is...have tried Renault, Fiat and Citroen, and it isnt listed against any of them.

Not sure how old that picture is but the askMID site shows that registration as not being on the insurance database.

Yes, i had tried Vauxhall as well.
I found the same picture posted on The Fiat Forum back in 2005.
According to one poster it was genuine at the time - on a Renalt Master van.
It isnt anymore though.

I saw RU55 SEL today which looked good and being spaced correctly meant you did really spot the third S.

I've not seen these but, on a Skoda Forum, someone has "SlOW TD" on a very quick and highly modified Fabia. Someone also mentioned on another thread on there, D13SEL (Diesel) registered to a 2006, Golf S SDI (75 BHP Non-Turbo).

I'm sure when magazines tested it there was XJ 220 JAG. I have seen the best number plate on a Fabia, it was SE07 VRS (Blue Special Edition) and L333ONN on a SEAT Leon.

Recently I saw this at a show at Croft. I thought it was very good for an Army Land Rover

Saw a nice blue S-Type Jaguar in Blackpool this afternoon with the number
DAV 1S - correctly spaced, too. Not often you see a name that's actually spelled properly, assuming that it belongs to some-one called Davis, that is. Pity if the name's Davies ...

See many FIL **** and the like. Do they belong to someone called Fillip, perhaps?

5LR is currently on a Mini Cooper, but cant find any record of the other 2 on either Motor Insurance Database or DVLA, which is strange if you see the Audi regularly.

Saw P1 GGY this morning on a Japanese something or other.

First saw A1 on a Daimler V8 250 I think it was, round Marble Arch in about 1969/70.

PB05 PER made to look like PROSPER is currently on a 5 series in Marlborough. I've always thought it would look good on an old school Bentley.

Years ago I use to regularly see an old red Ford Cortina with the plate BAD 541T with the characters digitalised. Would love to find that one again.

The plate VX22OVX
Now taking the plate apart we must assume it is "new style".
So
VX
22
OVX
So this is a "22" plate car.

Problem: 22 plates will not be released until March 2022
So sorry - this plate does not currently exist.

Saw a car on the way home today parked outside some offices with the number plate SAW II. Thought it was a a movie reference at first but the offices are for a company that sell industrial tools and specialise in saws and blades.

A friend of mine bought an ex-military jeep - number plate was xxxx NEW - ironic as it was very old. And had been chucked out of a plane quite a few times.

He also had a tank

Am I missing something really obvious? I'm just not getting that!

I remember years ago seeing a battered old Fiesta with ABC 123 on it.

Naturally it did not have the correct spacing between D and 1.
I used to see that (AUD1) regulary - almost every day, when I lived on the Wirral years ago.
