What are you favourite car sites

Of all the sites out there which car sites do you visit the most often?

My faves are
www.torquecars.com (pretty friendly forums & lots of tuning articles and tips!)
www.parkers.co.uk - Good for info.

It depends on what you're after......there are manufacturer specific sites for almost every make, and even model-specific sites as well.

If you want general sites, then you have Evo,AutoExpress etc etc.

Re: What are you favourite car site

I find www dot Parkers dot com has to be one of the best for specifications and prices etc.

Others I visit are just forums run by enthusiasts, it's quite interesting to read about the ownership of cars you'll never afford LOL

Re: What are you favourite car site

For general car news, then Pistonheads, PistonHeads.com It was one of the first ever websites I looked at almost exactly 10 years ago and I now look at it once week (normally on a Thursday). I occasionally look at AutoCar and AutoExpress websites.

I read forums about the makes of car we have. Scoobynet.com as my dad has an Impreza. Briskoda (pronounced Bris-skoda) BRISKODA.net as we have 2 Fabias. In January I became a member after lurking for a while and I am totally addicted to it. I have posted over 800 posts which is an average of over 3 posts per day so far. I am also a member of SCN SEAT Cupra.net as they invited Briskoda members to a Rolling Road day.

I occasionally look at TDI & TDCI forums Turbo Diesel Owners Club UK as I nearly bought a Fiesta TDCI. I also very occasionally look at Mini2 and MX5 forums as I nearly bought one of them. I even found Austin Rover Metro Forums as I had one of them.

For Motorsport news then Ten-Tenths Forums 10 Tenths Motorsport There are sections about all forms of motor racing. I read the Marshals and Rallycross sections. I have been reading it for 6-7 years and one of these days I will join. I have met and know many of the members and even the site owners.

Re: What are you favourite car site

For me its Pitsonheads.

Personally, I find that if the website belongs to a magazine (like AutoCar or Auto Express), then its prety thin, as it would jeopardise the printed copy sales. The exceptin to this is What Car Online, which fore used car model reseacrh is excellent.

Also found 4Car to pretty good too...

Re: What are you favourite car site

Another vote for pistonheads.com. I am a regular on there, its my favourite forum (probably because I am obsessed with cars and driving).

I do go on the manufacturer / model specific sites as well though. I go on MX5nutz at the moment. When I had my Integra it was itr-dc2.com, when i had my clio 182 it was clio-sport.net and my Fabia vRS I used to go on seat-cupra.net and briskoda.net.

Scoobynet.

Even though I no longer own a Scooby I find the people on there fun, light-hearted, intelligent (mostly) and welcoming. The moderation is also very relaxed making for a pleasant social environment.

I hope you don't take any styling tips from barryboys site. These tell you how NOT to mod your car and bodywork.

It looks like Brisky is down at the moment I'm getting withdrawal symptoms It seem like the server if failing more and more over the last few months. I hope when we get the new revamped site next month or so it will be much more stable.
