Any clifford alarm experts?

I've just bought a used car that came fitted with a concept 600. Unfortunately only the cabin is protected and not the boot or bonnet.

I want to fit two amps in the boot so I really need this area protected, how easy is it to add this?

Cheers.

Re: Any clifford alarm experts?

If the current alarm is utilising the interior light then it's as simple as wiring in a couple of plunger switches to the circuit. Otherwise the manual should include details about which terminals to add the same switches to. Any alarm specialist should be able to do it for a small price too as it's less than an hours work and a few pence of components.

Re: Any clifford alarm experts?

Your amps are covered.

I have not had any dealings with clifford for a very long time but i'm sure all cliffords employ voltage drop so if you have a boot with a light as soon as the boot is open it will sound the alarm.

Also the interior has a prox sensor so its covered.

As long as you dont put it in valet mode your ok.
