ford mondeo 2.0 TDi 130 2002 timing belt

Does anyone know the interval for changing the timing belt on this model? Thanks

I believe the 130 has a timing chain and is good for 120k miles.

thanks ive just bought the car and the guy who sold me it said 100k miles or 10 years .It has covered 89000 miles and is a 2003 52 reg.The 100k seems very high for a timing belt change.......but if it has a chain then probably this is a different situation altogether. The owners book didnt mention a chain though.What do you think?

pretty sure the TDCi full stop has a timing chain, regardless of 115 or 130 isn't it?

That's correct. The chains are to be inspected at 100K and then it is only to make sure that it is still tight and in good nick.
