Comp and mainly mobo probs

Hello this is my first post ...

But my problem is there is a a little box in the corner under my RAM and it shows a new number and i know what it is. So i looked in my 790i mobo manual and i found the number. 1C thats what it looks like. My manual says

CMOS Battery check: Test CMOS and check battery fail

i have no clue what that means..
does that mean buy a new nickle sized battery. and replace it? cause theres a normal battery in there that looks like a nickle.. This is a new gaming comp and im not very smart with comps yet.
i did build this..

I would like any solutions to this ASAP

thanks

Adam

Re: Comp and mainly mobo probs

Typical price Maxell Cmos Battery --- RS Computer Supplies ..
any good computer shop should have these or electrical suppler .. to take battery out that is dead easy and instructions to remove will be in motherboard manual .if not got that have a read at this http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000239.htm
also take the old one with you to shop and Double check ratings just in case ..
