Can anyone give me details of a motherboard with same specs as Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 but with SATA 6Gb/s connectors and not just 3gb/s connectors as I want to get a new ssd with 6gb/s speeds and be able to use it.

Going to upgrade my system to fx-6100 or fx-6200 and 8gb/16gb ram also.



Must have hdmi and optical outs as well as usb3 and 2 x pci-e slots for 2 graphics cards. apart from that im not to worried. Just as long as the onboard graphics will play 1080p films smoothly.

hi all. Just to update that I have decided to not go down the AMD route because intel seems alot better.

I have managed to get a brand new i7 2600k sandybridge and am now looking for some simple motherboard advice.

I have sourced cruicial 16gb (4x4) ram 1600 cl9 and just need a bit of advice.

Because I spent alot on the processor I now am on a budget of £100ish for the motherboard.

I want hdmi, opitcal out, usb3, sata 6gb/s and be able to use my old zotac 8800gt 512 graphics card.

I wont be overclocking the processor as it will already be way more powerful than my needs anyway so these are the mobo's that I am thinking of ?

p.s. i dont use this pc for gaming other than c&c, I do use it for photoshop and video editing which is slow on my old (now broken) althon x2 64 bit 2.8 amd 5600+
