Memory time-ings for DDR2 ram

Over the last month or so i got 4 x 512mb of DDR2 PC6400 ram (1 set of 2 x 512mb of DDR2 PC6400 with time-ing of 5-5-5-12) and (1 set of 2 x 512mb of DDR2 PC6400 with time-ing of 4-4-4-12).

To use in dual core mode in the new motherboard i want to buy.

But out of the above which pair is slower and will this effect system performance or stability or will the faster memory automaticaly slow down for the slower one ?

The memory should slow down OK, if not you can set it manually in the BIOS
5-5-5-12 is slower than 4-4-4-12 but if you'll not notice any difference
