Recommend a Q6600 fan

Went & ordered an OEM Q6600 by mistake

Was planning on overclocking at some point, but only as far as I could with the intel stock cooler.

So can anyone recommend a decent cooler for it. Don't really want to pay more than £15. Wondering if I would be just as well pick something up from maplin/pc world as by the time next day carriage is factored in it will probably be just as cheap.

Re: Recommend a Q6600 fan

have a look at quietpc.com, they give you a list of what they consider to be suitable for each processor, and are pretty well priced. get all my fans and sinks from there

Another vote for quietpc. I use them all the time for coolers and fans.

Re: Recommend a Q6600 fan

£15 - probably the Artic Freezer Pro 7 - cheap and cheerful, quiet and effective - also another vote for Scan free postage over £20.

I ordered a few things on friday from them, made the order up to £21 by getting a 1gb usb stick and it arrived this morning by 9am.
