psu question

hi, when fitting a new psu, is it just a matter of taking the old one out, and fitting the new one, or do you have to go into the bios, and change things in there. if anyone can help please. kind regards. gboy.

Re: psu question

No need to go into BIOS. Just remove, and wire up motherboard (ATX and 4 pin square) optical and HD power cables.

as above - just take out old one and install new one. make sure everything is plugged in and away you go.

Have you bought the new psu yet? If not, don't go for a cheapy. Remember that if the psu goes pop, it can take other expensive components with it...
