HTPC cases that support ATX motherboards
Hi,
I'm moving away from my P180 and want something that can sit nicely on my desktop, but can still handle the height of an X1900XT and so on. I won't be overclocking or anything, just want a really nice HTPC case for not too much (~£150).
I've been looking at the Zalman HD160 - looks fantastic and isn't too bad...just wondering if there are any others! Preferably a VFD / Matrix display on the front. The Zalman features 80mm fans and full ATX motherboard support, which is great as my motherboard is an ATX Asus P5W DH Deluxe.
Thanks!
K

Silverstone LS13 i think it is. I did however, have to take a dremel to it, when i fitted my Artic 64 cooler!

Re: HTPC cases that support ATX motherboards
silverstone ssc lc-17b for ~£70
the best case for the money without a doubt. 6 3.5" bay's, 2 optical bays, 2x92mm fans at the front (not inc), 2x80's at the back (included). enough space to fit an 8800gtx ....it'll squeeze in just about anything you want to put in there except the big 120mm heatsinks that have the fan standing up - they are too tall. orb-type coolers fit perfectly well, as you can see.
i also have p5w in that case, although the board in the pic is an ip35-pro but that blew up on me lol

Re: HTPC cases that support ATX motherboards
Had a silverstone lc16m, now got a Zalman hd160. imo build quality is miles better on the Zalman.
