Question PSU question - help please

The PSU in one of my PC's at home has just broken.
In buying a new one, do I have to get something specific for the PC, or will anyone do ?
I really have no idea - but have seen this one click! - although I don't know what this bit means: 20+4pin, ATX12v, 4x Molex
Any help/thoughts appreciated . . .

Oh - it's quite an old one - used by my children - an Athlon 2800 processor - if memory serves me correctly . . . it's all IDE stuff in there (two HDD's and a DVD burner)
I really wanted to know if power supplies are generic . . .
- and if it'll be easy for me to replace the broken one . . .
