Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

looked in search and didn't find much.
I am looking to get a spacious case as I have very long graphics cards to put in her. went to PC world with measurements to check out some of their cases and also read about some others on the net and found most of them will be a tight fit(or require the removal of cages).

so, has anyone got the CM stacker 832 ?
I know this one will take all my PC parts, I just wondered what you think of yours

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

I have the Silverstone TJ09... the TJ07 would fit everything if the 9 was a bit small...

Or how about the new Coolermaster Cosmos Rc1000 ?

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

thanks matt

I didn't like the silverstonetek case, also it looked a tad cramped, but the RC1000 looked like the dogs
(I need to fit 2 8800 ultras in it with room to spare)

In the end I got this one

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

If you want a Stacker, get the earlier models, ie the one with dual PSU spacing or the 810. They're better.

Lian Li 2000+ is massive also and ideal if you want lots of drives.

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

I'm about to build a new pc and want to invest in a quality new case. I very much like the look of the CM Stacker 832 (but not the price!). However, what concerns me is the mesh side panels. I want to try and stop as much dust, fluff etc getting inside my pc case and this mesh design seems to defeat the whole object of dust filters with fans. Perhaps 832 owners can tell me otherwise.

If anybody else has any suggestions? My wish list is, transparent side panels, aluminium construction and midi or full tower. I seen the Silverstone Temjin tj 10, but I don't like the design. Sort of like the NZXT Lexa Classic http://www.nzxt.com/products/lexa/ . Any other products?

Bump. Anybody have any views/ideas about the mesh side panels letting in dust?

If that worries you buy some filters and place in front of the fans.

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

I have the new stacker 832. Very roomy. Have a 8800gtx somewhere in there.

A word of caution though, the side panel that has 4 fans..............apparently you cant get all four fans in with sli?

Not too sure if its bullox, but remeber reading it somewhere.

Its a great case, always found the old versions butt ugly.

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

Thanks for your replies guys, but what I am trying to establish is, are the mesh side panels what they described as, panels with loads of little holes in? Sounds daft question I suppose, but with fans intaking air, that some of that intake could come via the meash panels thus avoiding any fan filters and causing the build up of dust (or could it, I don't know!). I like the 832, but don't like the idea of almost open sides that allows dust and debris in. Fussy, I know but you thoughts.

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

Its like more screen than mesh, load of small holes.

Kinda think the fans are a bit over kill as both sides are the same so should get adequate cooling.

Have 2 fans in my side panel with blue led's and look quite good imho.

Removable tray is a piece of cake to install.

Only issue i have is that you can only get 4 hard drives in the 4in3 bay, you need to purchase another to get more hard drives in.

Mind you 4 is plenty for most people

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

Thanks kinda warming to it now, I suppose if the fans are sucking the air in it's unlikely any air to be drawn in through the mesh sides.

Here's some bespoke ones that are quite nice, not so sure about the price though!!!!!!

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

Ridiculous prices. Mind you wouldnt order anything from those cowboys at pixmania ever again.

Ordered a logitech z5450 system, shipped it from spain, all with euro plugs.

Was going to send it back but in the SMALL print it states they do sometimes ship european models.

Returns get posted to spain at your expense

They did send me 3 awful white plug convertors 2 weeks later, by such a time i had bought some black ones that actually matched.

I have often said i would never order from places before, namely overclockers. The difference being my small problems with overclockers are normally over shadowed by the many good experiences.

Pixmania on the other hand are a waste of space

Re: Anyone have a Coolermaster 832 ?

Shame, I was just about to place an order for the camouflaged one.

Anybody know the difference between the 832 & 832 SE?
