Thermaltake VF7001BNS

I'm thinking of building a HCPC. I've been looking for a suitable case to start with, quite liked the Silverstone SST-GD01B-MXR, but then I saw this one from Thermaltake. Specialtech sell them for £149.99, but they out of stock at the moment. Quite like the look of it, and it has a 7" lcd screen (wonder if you can turn it off though!). It seems good value for money. Has anybody have one or know something about this particular one or thoughts.

Re: Thermaltake VF7001BNS

Here's one from Zalman, HD160XT Plus. It has the same lcd screen, but it's over £350. I wonder if Specialtech have got the price wrong for the Thermaltake?

Thermaltake DH101 HTPC ATX Case VF7001BNS

Since I agree with you on the quality and appearance, I think that you might enjoy the review I posted of this product. Not too many sites offering exposure of this product so far.

Excellent review Das, especially liked the pictures, as they say there're worth a thousand words. I think I'll just add the site to my favourites!

PS. Have you seen the VH2001BNS?

I actually negotiated this product first, but later was told they are backordered. In all honesty, I'm not so sure I would ever get up to go and touch the LCD screen. Thermaltake probably knew it wouldn't get high marks from me because of that.

PS. Thanks for the compliments!
