Best way to mail a CPU

I am not sure if this fits in this forum but its the best I can see, mods please move if you think otherwise.

I am looking to sell some PC parts I have laying around and was wondering the best way to package them for shipping, especially a CPU.

Thanks for any advice.

Re: Best way to mail a CPU

If the cpu has the pins on the bottom get a bit of foam/sponge and gently cover them with it, then sandwich the cpu between some cardboard, then wrap in bubble wrap and finally place in a small cardboard box. might be over kill but better safe than sorry.

agree with above - any i have sent - small amount of foam and then some bubble wrap should be fine.
