HP w2207h flicker problem

My HP Monitor has a problem. The colours appear to be constantly flickering, it looks like a tv which has a very, very, very, small amount of static. Its not that noticeable, especially when on a white image, but it is very irritating. I recently formatted my PC and had to reinstall all drivers, i think it has something to do with that. I've reinstalled the Nvidia drivers and i've reinstalled the HP monitor drivers, still the problem persists.

Anyone have any solutions?

It sounds like you might be noticing the dithering, is it confined to areas of colour or when it happens does it happen over the whole screen?

Other possibilities are that you've got it connected via VGA and the analogue signal isn't adjusted properly (digital DVI to HDMI would be prefered) or that the 'voltages aren't adjusted correctly'. There's a series of tests here that might help identify the problem (the voltage thing is the inversion test).

By any chance have you installed My Display software?
If so this will mess up the monitor.

yes.. i did install the My Display Software, it was fine before that. It is connected via VGA aswell. I will uninstall the My Display Software to see if that fixes it, although before i reformatted i had My Display and it was fine, its only happened since i've reinstalled everything. I think it has something to do with the PC aswell, maybe a faulty driver or something?

Sorry to say this uninstalling or formatting hard drive won't help My Display software is like a virus you can't get rid of
I had to send my HP w2207h monitor for replacement,because of this i got replacement and everything as it should be so do not install My Display software when you get a replacement.
