Got my old XP vintage Sony VGP-UVC100 webcam out but the only Sony driver is an old XP one that fails to install on windows 7.

Anyone had any luck getting one of these working in win7?

Google doesn't seem to find anything accept the endless semi-scam download our driver scanner sites which suggests it's not going to happen but thought I would ask.

Yep that's the XP driver from the Sony site and a download our scanner (not the driver mind) and I consider those a borderline scam.

No drivers for win 7 then, oh well.
