I bought an LG Chocolate a couple of months ago from Tesco ( Tesco PAYG, my Wifes) and she has decided to get a Blackberry for work. I thought I would sell the LG but needed to unlock it first.
I got a code off ebay that didnt work then rang Tesco to see how much they would charge to unlock it. I explained I wanted to sell the phone but use the sim in another phone.
" Have you used more than £30 of credit sir?"
me, "Why yes, I have"
" In that case we will unlock it for free, and we will give you 50 free texts or 50 free minutes on your old sim"
me, "That will do nicely, cheerio"

Tesco really are taking over the world, but at least they are very pleasant and helpful while they`re at it!
