Hello, I have a bog standard Tesco mobile.
The problem is that when there is an incoming or outgoing call the person on the other end cannot hear me, although I can hear them quite clearly.
Is it time to buy another or is there a simple solution?

Don't know if this would be any use to you but i experienced the same thing a while back with a nokia n73. I played around with the network settings and it started working. Perhaps not much help but i thought i'd let you know.

I've seen some mobiles in the past that if you press mute during a call this setting is retained until you unmute it again during a call (even on subsequent calls).

either that or the mic on your phone is stuffed ;-)
