Unlocking

Not having needed to this before, where can I go to get a phone unlocked from the Orange network to change to Virgin PAYG monthly? Do I have to find some shady back street outfit/ market stall? Thanks.

You mind telling us why you're changing from Orange to Virgin.

At a guess because Orange are cack - imho. My Orange handset got launched at a wall as i could not get on with their idiosyncrasies and as a bonus the Virgin coverage suited me better.

I've just bought 2 nokia 3510i from Comet's and got them at good prices at £79.99 each and I also went for Virgin PAYG, I found they offer the best rates for ocassional use and their text rates are only 3p the other networks don't come close.
