what windows mobile?

looking at these pages i think i'm in the right place to ask this, what is the best windows mobile ( not blackberry ), the people useing this forum seem to know a great deal about things and stuff with bits and bobs, i've had a mda111 for a while and my upgrade is due, if you could pick 1 pda what would it be?
battery life is important and 1 that has a proper mp3 player would be good.

Re: what windows mobile?

is there a specific reason why you want a windows mobile phone? unless there is, you are much better off looking at the better competition. WM is not recommended.
also, you will never get good battery life from a WM phone because the operating system is so inefficient.

Re: what windows mobile?

i use it for work, the sync of my contacts and jobs to do/done is needed, but most of all the ease of putting contacts in and appointments with the qwerty touch screen is the main reason, can i do all this with say the 5800?

Re: what windows mobile?

EC might not recommend WM, but I've been using WM phones for several years and have absolutely no problems with them.

I'm currently enjoying the HTC Touch HD.

If you want a review, I'm afraid you're best googling for the many on the web. I'm no reviewer.
