I just got the E71 yesterday. I am a user of nokia for a long time and had the e61i before this one.
Everything seems to work great on it except, sometimes when i hit the keys on the keypad they sound funny, like there is an echo to them. Other times they sound okay. I know this is not a big issue but it is annoying. I do not know if other users have the same problem. I know I did not with my e61i. Should I send it back to amazon and ask for a replacement?

I have read of some build quality problems with the keypad. Mine feels solid, so I suggest you get an replacement.
