Right, I need to unlock a Samsung SGH-E250 so that it can be used with any SIM.
It's currently locked to T-Mobile.

I've tried this method;

Input *2767*3855# and phone will reboot and will be temporarily unlocked.

Step 1. Input *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#

Step 2.Input #7465625*638*00000000#

Step 3. Input *#7465625# to check the locks....all locks should now be inactive as or similar to below:

network lock - inactive
subset lock - inactive
sp lock - inactive
cp lock - inactive
sim lock - inactive
activa lock - inactive
phone lock - inactive
auto network - inactive
auto subset lock - inactive
auto sp lock - inactive
auto cp lock - inactive
auto sim lock - inactive

The only problem is the phone is now in German and step two tells me the password is incorrect.
The network lock is still active.

This is a new phone so the password has not been changed in any way from the factory 00000000 or what ever it's supposed to be.

Before someone starts accusing me of things, this is a present from my sister to my mum.
My sister, being the genius she is, bought a T-mobile pay-as-you-go phone, even though my mum is with Vodafone, to replace my mums current phone.
My mum wants to keep her current number.

I need to unlock it so that my mum can use her Vodafone SIM in it.
