New 'Magic' Google phone announced - no slide-out keyboard this time.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but Google have got a new phone coming out on Vodafone :

BBC NEWS | Technology | Second 'Google phone' is unveiled

"The touchscreen HTC Magic will feature a 3.2 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, and GPS, but no slide-out keyboard."

"The Magic will feature new Android firmware, known as "Cupcake", with changes based on G1 user suggestions."

"The Magic will go on sale to Vodafone customers in the UK, Germany, Spain and France, and non-exclusively in Italy"

Another touch screen phone. I much prefer a proper keypad. I hope this is not going to be the norm to have touch screens.

Looking at the MWC coverage most new smart phones are touch screen think the only exceptions are the HTC Touch Pro 2 and the Nokia N97

The HTC Magic is running 'Cupcake' though so should be amazing

It still looks bulky and ugly. Shame I would of thought they would of made it allot more sleek and sexy.
