Too old?

Hi all

Getting new phone for the missus. Some good deals going with free wii etc. Narrowed it down to two she likes "the look" of: Viewty and Tocco. Same price £30 600min unltd texts free wii (for the kids, honestly) but Viewty deal on voda has £120 cashback redemption.

Could anyone help me out here? I know the Tocco's newer, slimmer, flashier looking but is it actually any better - all the viewty reviews seem to be better, but they were written when it was new. I know its a bit old now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Too old?

The Viewty is an older phone, compared to the Tocco, but to tell you the truth, your wife (probably, unless she is tech savy) wouldn't know the difference.
Saying that, both phones are ok, but note the Tocco competes with the LG Renoir, not Viewty, Viewty is a generation behind.

So just go for the best deal.

By the way, you are correct, the Viewty gets the better reviews.

Re: Too old?

Great, thanks. The viewty offer gives the £120 cashback (and unlike me, my wife actually does follow those things through!) so it's the better deal. It is for 24 months, mind you. Are there any reliability probs with the viewty?

Re: Too old?

24months for a viewty on 30quid a month sounds a bit steep.

Re: Too old?

Decision made. When she caught sight of the viewty she asked me why I was trying to get her to have a brick instead of the sleek looking one. So went for the Tocco. Hope it's as good as its appearance.
