I just got one up on O2....

Just called O2 as a lifetime customer....looking for a upgrade.....i did want a n96 ( i have a n95 as it is )

They wouldnt let me take it on my contract, and i would have had to pay for the phone.

SO, i told them just to cancel the contract....10 mins later....i took another n95...with £50 discount in tarriff...and free unlimted web browsing.

So, i get 400mins xnetwork/landline 1000 SMS, free calls to landlines and O2 phones. AND unlimited internet access.

Total price. £15 a month.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but thats not really a good deal, if thats on an 18 month contract they have shafted you.

Re: I just got one up on O2....

Isn't the camera in an N96 actually worse than the one in an N95 (physically smaller sensor) ?

Eh? A £50 reduction in the monthly price, with a £7.50 bolt on for free is a damn good deal! A free phone of any type on a £15/m contract is good going. And 4000 x/net minutes and 1000 texts for £15/m is extremely good.

So what part makes this a not very good deal? Where can you find better?

Good going

Re: I just got one up on O2....

Maybe I sounded a bit harsh but no way is 400 minutes x net worth an original £65 a month as they are saying.

TO put it into perspective, I'm paying more with o2 but Ive only just received my first upgrade, not a lifetime member like he mentioned and I pay 27.50 but got 1200 mins / 1000 text and unlimited internet and an Xperia X1.

My point was them saying a £50 reduction to £15 is surely false advertising.

But my post sounded harsher than I intended for sure.

Re: I just got one up on O2....

ah.... i love posting something up, then re-reading it, to see i made a major boo-boo.....

50% discount, NOT £50

but still....£15 a month....free N95.

Try finding that elsewhere.

Sorry to have confused you !
