Tocco will it work abroad

Phone is only tri band. According to o2 website and even vodafone it will work in Jamaica, Cuba, Mexico and even USA. Some are GSM networks others tri band. The phone is a gift to someone who must text regardless.

Can anyone confirm tri band is all you really need these days unless you intend on going to Panama
