Upgrade Dilemma

What would you do?

Option 1: Upgrade to a SE C905

Option 2: Upgrade to the most expensive phone possible for free and sell it.. to make a profit

Option 3: as 2 but then buy a HTC Touch Pro (Data tariffs etc would then be an issue)

Option 4: SOmething completely different?

I can afford up to £35 a month contract. And currently have 600minutes and 1000 text with O2.

Thanks

I think it all depends what you need out of a phone.

Re: Upgrade Dilemma

Reliability and Stability more than anything.

However Wi-Fi and GPS would be very useful. But not at the expense of an unresponsive device and regular crashes.

I'd avoid SonyEricsson then. They have been going downhill bigtime over the last 18 months, with internal disputes, rumours of a split, no innovation, poor hardware, poor build quality and huge reliability problems. Their two flagship phones go a long way to proving this.... the X1 which is not made by SE (made by HTC) and uses Windows Mobile rather than their own UI... and the C905, which is proudly boasting about 'new' technology that other manufacturers have been pushing out for a long time.

Their only hope has been ramming up the mega-pixels in their cameras but, as we all know, a higher MP rating doesn't make for higher quality pictures.

IMO, look at a simple but well proven phone rather than the latest and greatest. Get the best phone you can off your contract, sell it and buy something more solid.

Re: Upgrade Dilemma

Thanks All.

Conflicting views. I may get the C905, play with it and then possibly sell it for a profit :-)

Re: Upgrade Dilemma

If you're happy with your current phone then why not just take a line rental discount or leave the contract and go sim-only 30 day?
