As HTC make the G1 which in turn runs Android.

Does anyone know if you can install Android on other HTC devices?

Or if HTC will be releasing a patch for the Touch HD or Pro?

I really like the look of the HD but would prefer it running Android I reckon?

Its rumored that it may be available for the Touch HD soon but I don't believe anything concrete has been announced.

Will this be backwards compatible to people running the WinMo version?

I hope so as the WinMo OS isn't quite there - even with the Touch-Flo 3D
