Please help desperately looking for a reliable source to unlock wifes pebl

Blimey,

Who thought it would be so hard to find a reliable source to unlock an old motorola pebl. What a palava! can somebody please help me, I have received nothing but good advice from this site about other electronic equipment. Please can someone tell me where I can get a subsidy code to unlock my wifes phone. Unfortunately we don't know anyone in our town that unlocks phones. We are not in the know (to old I suppose). I don't mind paying someone if they can do the job. I have heard there are so many scams on the internet. So I am at a loose end help us.

Re: Please help desperately looking for a reliable source to unlock wifes pebl

The most straightforward way is to contact the netwrok which the phone is locked to. Costs vary, from £0 (Vodafone) to about £15. If there is an independent phone shop in your town, you can ask in there. Costs vary hugely.

Failing that, I have used nextgenserver.com to unlock a BTtogo and that was very easy. They quote £15 for a Motorola code.
