Have I broken my W960 touchscreen?

I just got my W960 out of my pocket - the battery had died earlier on so it needed charging. Straight away I noticed that the screen had a multicolored property, like the kind of rainbow/swirly effect you see in a puddle of petrol.

This was all over the screen except for a fairly defined 4mm border around the edges, and seems to be a liquid that reacts to the screen being pressed.

Obviously I was concerned. I plugged it in, turned it on and my touchscreen doesn't work. The picture is fine (apart from having a multicolored layer over it), but none of the touchscreen functions react to me pressing them.

I've already sent this phone back once this year for a smashed screen, am I really going to have to make another insurance claim?

Thanks, Alex

seems that way mate. if you have spilt something on it recently then the best thing to do is remove the battery, sim card and let it dry out in a warm room for a day or too. might be worth a try.
