got the k800i, text loads with it & it certainly keeps up with the text message storage space.had over 180 in inbox & 700 in sent which i like to keep some of them etc...
thing is, just would like to know if there is a phone out there what could store more?. maybe an se phone.

Any smartphone will let you store an essentially unlimited number of messages on a memory card. You could of course use software to back up the messages to your computer and be able to store as many as you like.

Not sure if it's helpful, but I'm pretty sure you can save them to an internal memory card.
