recommend me a new phone please......

Hi, I need a phone that is good to use on the internet on the move, and 1 which I can get my work e-mails sent too?

Any ideas? Do deals on phones come with internet access and e-mail included?

As you can tell, real beginner have no idea's what I need.

Cheers.

Re: recommend me a new phone please......

Hi,
I've been working on a Nokia N95 8GB for nearly 18 months now, it handles the internet pretty well either on 3G or WAP, You can view internet pages in various levels of zoom and if viewing full size you scroll around with or without the aid of a 'position window'. I've also used it very successfully for retrieving/replying to my emails so I guess this is one which might fit the bill for you.
I run it on the 3 network, though I got the phone elsewhere. On 3 (three) you can add internet access (fair usage) to your monthly deal for £5 a month. I access the internet a lot with it and have never had any message suggesting my usage was excessive. I would still consider other networks/options though and I am hoping to upgrade in December to one of the soon to be released new smartphones, unfortunately have already found out that the Google G1 phone won't suit my requirements (see my posting T-Mobile -Google G1 Non Starter?).
Hope this helps,
Ed

Re: recommend me a new phone please......

oops ..don't want to put you off considering the N95 8GB by suggesting it is 18 months old or more .... just realised that it is my contract with 3 that is nearly 18 months old not the phone! Got the phone elsewhere back in May and it was fairly new to the market then if I remember rightly. So if you do consider it a possibility then it is probably a good option as more accessible as a freebie on price plans now.
