Walkie Talkie help please

Sorry if posted in wrong section - but don't know where else to put this.

I've got a Motorola XTN-iD which works fine with many other different brands of cheaper walkie talkie radios - I'm using channel 1 - all the others are on channel 1-1. A couple of other mates have both just bought the Kenwood TK-3201, which again should work with all the radios - but they wont work with any of the other radios using channel 1 (I tried doing a channel scan on my radio - but couldn't pick them up) - but the two kenwoods work OK together. When the kenwoods transmit the light on my Motorola changes to orange - which is a sign of signal received.
Both the motorola & kenwood should be on 446.00625 MHz when on channel 1 according to the manuals.
Can anyone help me to get them all to work with each other please ??

You`re definitely in the wrong forum!

Why not try THUNDERPOLE Forum | CB Radio, 10 Metres, Scanners, 2 Way Radio, Antennas

or Index :: Transmission1 :: Radio Resources for PMR 446, Scanning, Broadcast, Amateur and CB Radio
