is this a decent deal

hi

im not really clued up on the mobile market and ive been thinking of going on contract as opposed to being on payg. Currently im with orange payg topping up about £10 a month, i called them direct and was offered 200 xnet mins unlimited txt , a 6500 slide nokia Plus as im in a orange lu area they will give me free basic broadband , 2meg speed and 2 gig download all for £13 i dont use the net for much more than a little browsing so that seems enough for me.

Im unsure to take the deal as i dont know if there is much better out there and where to go to get a phone these days.

anyone got any advice ?

thanks

Thats a great deal if £10 is all you spend a month.

Remember, people who go on contract are people who can't afford to buy the phones.

All the great deals now are on sim-only packages.

I work for the department that sorts these deals out it really is a decent deal mate at the moment some of the best deals orange do can be had for existing payg customers wishing to upgrade.

As far as sim only being the best deals, thats really subjective and depenant on the circumstances of the user. In reality not many ppl can afford to shell out large sums of money for top handsets either sim free or on payg then follow the unlocking process. If u factor in a handset price with a sim only over the long term there is no great diffrerence.

You're certainly clued up on forum spamming though aren't you and although some forums might be fooled by your posting as Bazrazmataz and PewPew we aren't.

My advice to everyone is always the same and that is most companies that resort to underhand tactics to market their products are generally not to be trusted. If it is official Orange policy to spam forums in such a deceiptful way then possibly they are not to be trusted either.
