Ram allows you to have more applications running, rom is usually what you would use for saving your files to! (of course don't forget it will also reserve some rom for built in apps)
Look to see if you can expand it with a card.

As you didn't post the 2 pdas you want to choose from i can't really give you a informed answer!

The PDA's I am interested in are, as follows:
http://www.letshave-it.co.uk/index.p...roducts_id=925

http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...52#accessories

One has a bigger ram than the other and it a hard dission on what would be best

Re: Pda- ram???

to mee the HP214 is really good bigger screen higher resolution, more memory and ram. But it's more expensive.
It really depends what you want to do with it.
Now if you just want to take notes it sucks, why don't you get a netbook like the eeepc? 7014GB can be had for £160, or the 900 for £200.
They are small 701 same size as dvd case.
Anyways just giving an opinion, it really depends what you need the device to do.

Re: PDA advice

PDAs running on windows mobile normally offer handwriting recognition so yes you should be able to just write. It will take some getting used to though.

Thanks alot that has been worrying me wondering if that would do that. Thank you!

Do you need to buy any software for it to reconise your writeing or is that all together with the PDA??
