I just well-and-truly smashed the screen on my N95 at work today. The rest of the phone is functioning fine with me having been able to blindly navigate the phone book, messaging etc. I can see the bottom left corner of the screen and that is it.

Is it possible to repair this? What sort of price am I looking at? I've not taken out insurance on this contract!

Your looking at around 40-50 for a replacement screen + fitting no more than 20-25 so id budget for 75 quid.

Go to your local market and you might find a cheap mobile screen repairer.

Also search in google, you might find a company replacing the screen for cheaper price.

Thanks for the quick responses. Am I safe enough taking it to a market trader? Alternatively, what about using places like http://fonefunshop.co.uk/repairs/lcd.htm? I don't want to give in a broken phone and come back with no phone at all!

I have cracked the screen on my N95 8gb also and I am paying £60 for the screen and to have it fitted. Hope thats gives you some sort of price to be looking for.

We at T-Mobile charge £62 inc vat.

I got a brand new screen for about £25 off ebay, and fitted it myself, there are plenty of sites that detail how to do it.
