Can we cancel our vodafone contracts early ?

Extremely unlikely. Their contract states they reserve the right to change their prices.

They have no obligation to allow you out of your contract early - unless you pay to get out.

I phoned them regarding the same thing, want to end mine early to get an iphone. They say they dont end a contract early but you can pay the remaining charges (your remaining ammount of months line rental) to the end of your contract to get a PAC code, using the code with another network will end your contract with vodafone so essentially the same thing. I think they say it that was cos its bad business to end a contract early but it still achieves what you want.
