benefits of cooked WM6.1 Roms

I have a htc tytnII / kaiser / o2 Stellar

I've done all the official upgrades but what am I missing?

using roms such as Dutties etc, will it be quicker/make the coffee etc

In a nutshell yes. Im not an "expert" but from what Ive read on XDA-developers and Modaco is that the generic ROMS tend to de-brand the phone and remove unwanted additional apps, like rubbish "branded" dialers etc. This alters depending on which ROM you choose. I was looking at using a replacement ROM on my Diamond but when reaiding about which ones do what, I noticed to speed things up that one of them removes TouchFlo, which I would want to keep.
Using a ROM which has not been supplied by your service provider / vendor will proably invalidate your warranty should you need to send back the phone, unless of course you re-install the original ROM, which are available.
