Advise needed with ladline phone

Hi All

I work in a shop that has one landline socket at one end. I have tried several cordless phones, but because they all have more or less the same range, the phone goes out of range towards the other end of the store.

I am currently having an extension fitted so that their will be a socket at the other end of the store.

My question is this:

If i buy two sets of cordless phones (and have a base unit plugged into each socket), would i be able to walk round the store freely, or would this not work?

No, it wouldn't work. What you need to do is have a socket fitted in the middle of the store. Then it will be less distance from handset to base station.

If the store is much bigger then you will either have to use wired phones or have a commercial system installed.
