irish vodafone user here guys, hope you don't me hopping onboard the forum but i'm looking for help and thought you might be the ones to help someone out...

i just got a vodafone e65 - and it's doing my nut because no caller id ever shows up. i mean ever. if i have a missed call it comes up as no number...this is madly frustrating. i've looked the settings up and down and can't find what i'm missing. any help much appreciated.

There are three possibilities:
1) You have hidden your number, this turns off caller id as well. The network doesn't allow one sided number witholding. (In settings Send My CallerID should be set to Set By Network)
2)You have your contacts duplicated on the phone and on the SIM or otherwise duplicated.
3)Faulty phone or fault on the network.

Hopefully, its the one of the first two.
