I've had Orange PAYG for some time now and every time I have cause to contact them it gets harder to get to actually speak to someone. But for bad service, how about this? I tried to call customer service a few days a go, quite late in the day. I went though various options and got to a recorded message that said if I continued from this point I would be charged 25p since I would be connected to an operator. I stayed with the line since what I was calling about could not be handled automatically. And what did I get for my 25p? - another recoding saying that the office was closed!
I must say I begrudge paying 25p to talk to someone at a company I am a customer of, especially when the automated system cannot handle the point in question, but being charged and then still only getting a recording is taking the ![]() |
