I've just done something really stupid and was wondering if anyone can help?
I want to sell my old Motorola V3X. I therefore want to wipe off any personal info, I tried to do a master reset and it asked for a code which I didn't have. I did a search on the internet, found what the code should be and then for some reason I decided to destroy the old SIM card (no longer works) before I did the reset.
Now when I turn on the phone it keeps asking me to put a SIM in it so I can't get to the menu to do the master reset. It's a Three phone and I only have an Orange SIM now - I tried to use that but the phone isn't unlocked so it wouldn't work.
Is there any way to reset the phone to the factory settings without a SIM in it? I was thinking maybe in the 3 shop they may be able to help - what do you think?
