if i change my tariff does it add another 12months onto my current contract?
i currently have 8 months left on mine but want to change it to a contract with more free texts, will this put me back to 12 months til i can upgrade?

You dont extend you contract with upgrading or downgrading your plan. You will loose the cyurrent "deal" you have and will not be able to come back to it.
